Saturday...The Heat Is On!!!

Wow, pretty incredible to have a holiday and still have the weekend to enjoy...at least, try to enjoy.

I was awakened at 2:30 a.m. with the back/side pain in full throbbing annoyance...good grief, it's becoming apparent that I'm going to have to break down and go to the doctor this next week and find out what in the Hell is ailing me!!! Be it a kidney stone or...I can't even imagine what could be wrong, what's causing all this pain...the pain pills aren't touching the pain...good thing I've committed to nothing and will remain home, trying to find some relief by Monday morning...scratch that, I need to find some relief in order to mow the yard tomorrow evening.

I get so mad and frustrated when my arthritis flares up and causes me so much pain I can't hardly function...I push forward, making myself do various chores around the house, getting projects that don't require a whole lot done...today, I'm changing out my bed skirt and comforter. You wouldn't think that was such a big deal other than I have a king-sized bed and changing out the bed skirt is a bit of a challenge when your back/side are spasming and throbbing with pain...but by gawd, I got it changed out...now I'm waiting for the mattress cover to dry out in the sun...I love putting my laundry outside to air drive, not to mention how much money it saves in electric and gas...

The heat is great...I've got all manners of laundry drying out in the drive-way...all the patio chairs are covered with a king-sized comforter and mattress pad cover...I had a good laugh wondering if my neighbors think I'm nuts for hanging my laundry out to dry...in my former life, my country club neighbors use to frown on my back-yard drying methods...fuck-em is what I said...as long as the laundry was hanging in my back-yard, what did they care? It wasn't like I was hanging the clothes on the trees in the front yard!!!

So, no meet and drink for me tonight...if I ever get my bed put back together, it is calling my name...if not the bed, then the sofa will be good for a rest break.

Pleasure's a sin, and sometimes sin's a pleasure...

If your yacking along with the pain chances are it`s your gallbladder, and if it is don`t be the fool I was and put off having it removed.

No, not yakking along with the pain...I've already had my gallbladder out so, that rules that out...I'm pretty sure it is a kidney stone...headed to the doctor come Monday morning...never doing the Emergency Room thing again, I'll make it to Monday. Thanks for stopping by.

That back/side pain is sounding more like a kidney stone the more you write about it. Especially the fact that pain pills are doing nothing. Drink lots and lots of water. I mean around a gallon a day until the blockage clears and the stone passes. I hope it passes soon and easily.

I've been hydrating like crazy...carrying my 16 oz. bottle around with me full of water...definitetly calling the doctor today...I can't imagine what else this pain could be...guess I'll find out eventually as I know things don't move fast in the medical world...especially since I don't have a doctor yet...no time like a crisis to find a primary care doctor...gotta jump through the hoops to get some relief!
