If you can't say something nice.... I put up two new pics this week, bringing my picture total to 3. Hopefully, it will not sound too horribly conceited when I say that my first pic is rated a 9.50 with about 100 votes, what kind of yanks my chain is the fact that the two other photos, one of which I like, the other not so much, have scores of 7.0 and 4.5 respectively (granted, since they have been put up this week, both have under 10 votes each). Regardless, what the fuck? The thing is, why would someone go out of their way to "vote" down a photo of someone else - they aren't really out there so much for people to judge as to let people know what I look like to determine if they would like to meet me. Am I really hideous? What did I do wrong with this second set of pictures? Are these people on some sort of sick power trip to hide their own insecurities? Can I claim self defense when I track down the twits who put in those votes and beat them with their own shoes? Please, please someone tell me I am pretty, because obviously I base my entire self-worth on this whole "voting" thing (is the dripping sarcasm coming through ok?). Thank goodness I have a few others qualities to fall back on here. Oh well, I am off to get some beauty sleep - none of which I will be losing over the whole "am I attractive" question, because honestly, if you have to ask, you don't want the answer   Back off, man! The picture voting is surreal in my opinion. When they first started it, I wrote to them asking if the site had been bought up by Hot or Not. I never got a reply. I leave voting on because I get the cranky emails if I turn it off. I have no idea what kind of votes I have, I really don't care. I do know voting resets itself every so often. Back when I could see what my votes were simply by clicking on my profile I would notice one day I'd have 100 votes and the next day I'd have three. The way voting resets itself kind of defeats the entire purpose. Ah, but now we're supposed to care even more, as they've added that stupid trophy case to our profiles. Which if you ask me, is even sillier than the voting.

We only vote on pictures that we consider a 10. If we can't put a ten to that particular picture we simply do not vote on it. I guess it comes down to; if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Whew....its a good thing I don't give folks the chance of voting on my pics. I hear you are moving to Arkansas. Your Minnesota blog is one I keep circling back to for its humor and honesty. You will be missed.

I love being able to vote 1 on gross pics ... like dirty old men showing face shots of their ex lovers even though they only have a "single" profile up.
