Snow.....
It's dangerous in so many ways, and I should hate it, but today when I looked out of the window I felt my heart leap. Snow, snow, snow. A good thick covering of snow.

I thought the car would be iced over as well as the snow, but it was just three inches of powder. Superb. We drove off to drop Jess at work in a blizzard. This is the sort of weather I learnt to drive in. The car had minimal traction, slick front wheel drive on steep slopes. Fun, using all my skill to stay on the road and get to our destination. Some roads were too much, even for me, though I've driven in worse.

Luckily, we heard on the radio that the 's school is closed today. This saved us a longer drive up some really dangerous slopes.

Don't ever give up searching for the fun in life.

 There were plenty of kids having a whale of a time in the snow as I drove to work this morning.

It's perfect weather except when you need to travel.
