I've been noticing that the majority of people looking are men who are older than me. Nothing wrong with that. What I'll say is this, message me or otherwise contact me and let's see if we can get together! I travel short distances ( 20 miles or a little farther if I'm interested)

So being a country guy it's no surprise I grew around nature, firearms and a passion of mine; target shooting. When I was around 9 my dad pulled aside one day and asked if I wanted go outside and try his .45 I jumped at the chance, and he sat down and taught that I have respect that tool and that it's not to be taken lightly. I was terrified of course because it was heavy and it was loud. But in time I grew to love shooting it. To this day I still love putting rounds downrange probably because of that bonding we did that fateful day. Since then my appetite for lead throwers has grown exponentially. I have shot 9mm para, .22 long, short, mini-mag and Winchester Magnum, 5.56NATO/.223 Remington, 7.62 Soviet (7.62x39) 7.62x54R, .45, and 20gauge. Well lately I've been getting an itch for something a little more advanced than my Mosin-Nagant M91/30. Something with a scope. I'm torn between a Remington R700 in .308/7.62x51 or a Savage AXIS 2XP. Now for those who took the time to read this rambling and are wondering why I want another rifle it's twofold. One is for target shooting at longer range than my eyes can see, and the second being that I hear that .308 is a decent cartridge for deer. To be honest I'm not an expert, but firearms are something I'm passionate about as this post no doubt shows.
