_____I think that maybe the universe needs certain things to stay in balance. Perhaps there has to be a certain percentage good people and there has to be an equal percentage assholes with varying degrees in all people. Say, at your "core" you are a good person, but sometimes you slip into "assholeness". By the same token , perhaps, another person is an asshole at their core, but once in a while they goof and are nice. I mean, I'm generally a nice guy, but I can guarantee you that I have had "assholeness" episodes. I would like to recommend some key words to remember when dealing with assholes on Hookup.Date Naughty Affair Dating: Ignore, erase, block, report...oh and if someone is being an asshole in their blog and you read it PLEASE do not tell anyone else about it. The Darkness needs to be fed to spread. I'm grateful to the full time assholes of the world. If they weren't, that "balance" thing might mean that I might have to be an asshole because they weren't. Just a thought.

_____It used to be Coast to Coast with Art Bell before he retired. One of the guests tonight was Richard C. Hoagland. He used to be with N.A.S.A. The story involved an Apollo mission from 1972. I think it was the last Apollo; not sure. The photo you see was supposed to have been one of them taken just before the astronauts boarded the lunar module and launched to dock with the command module to head back to earth. Hoagland says that this picture is from an original negative; therefore it could not have been doctored by "Photo Shop". Look closely and tell me what you see. If you are interested in more of the story, you can Google Coast to Coast for the link. Once there, just clock the picture or story. I know what you're thinking. "What a load of crap!" I say "What if?"

[post 549859]Cancer Update........ Oct 16, 2006 1:08 am
Mood: sad, 13 Views
You may remember when I posted my blog about supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I made a comment on there about a co-worker who at one time had breast cancer, lost a breast, but was cleared for the cancer. But went in for corrective surgery and about died. And I had said she was at home resting.

This was the same staff member that I had posted about months ago, who was not getting a fair shake at work. The day shift staff made it hard for her. They said she was acting funny. And blamed it on her pain meds. One of the nurses had even made a comment "Maybe the Cancer went to her brain and thats why she is acting so weird"

Due to all the abuse she received from people at work, she took a medical leave of absence.

This co-worker called our boss and wanted to know if she could come back to work. He said she could as soon as she got paper work from her Doc. stating she could.

So she goes to her doc. to get cleared to come back to work, And they find Cancer.

The Cancer had moved to her Brain!

I wonder how those Bitches who said all that mean stuff to her are feeling now?

She is in the Hospital now. I don't know what the plans are. I have heard surgery. But with as weak as her heart is, I do not know what they are going to do.

She is a single mother of a young boy. Why does this stuff happen to such good people?

Her name is Karla, and she needs your prayers.

_____Or worse about me. I was reading a couple other blogs dealing with sickness and death. It got me to thinking about the absolute worst thing I have done in my entire life. To set the stage...I was twenty five and still living at home with my parents. My Mom had been diagnosed with cancer. It seems it had started in her uterus and because she neglected to get it checked out;because she was afraid to find out she was sick, had spread to her intestines. She was operated on and they got 90% of it. She spent time in ICU, more time in the hospital and then came home to recuperate. 90% is good. Right? Three weeks later, Mom went in for a check up. She never came home. She ended up in a coma for a month in the hospital. My Dad, brother and I took shifts at the hospital. Mom died when Dad was there. She never woke up. 90% is not good. 10% cancer can kill you.
_____So what is the worst thing I've ever done in my life? What will I regret until I die? Mom's going out the door for her check up. It's the last time I'm ever going to see her conscious. I'm sitting on my ass in front of the TV playing Nintendo. Do I get up, give her a hug and tell her I love her? No. Get this. I look up at her and say..."Have fun."

_____Long story short. I wimped out at arraignment and made a deal with The Man (prosecutor). Failure to signal lane change: a moving violation=2points, was changed to unsafe vehicle. The prosecutor said, and I quote "You had a busted windshield." That would be a little hard to have; considering I was on my Harley. Unsafe vehicle=0 points. The fine was $200.00. The court cost was $85.00. I give you all the long story when I'm not feeling so "blah". /// Note: ANYONE can make a deal with the prosecutor like I did. Please remember that the next time you decide just to send the ticket money in the mail.

_____I should save this until my arraignment blog on Wednesday, but in case I forget, I wanted to mention it today. If they ask you for a copy of your ticket at the arraignment hearing, DON'T GIVE IT TO THEM. It is not your job to help the state prosecute you. If they ask you for your copy, it might just mean that they lost theirs. I could be wrong, but I think the traffic ticket is a crucial piece of evidence for the state. I was asked for my copy of the traffic ticket once. I gave it to them. I figure they just made a copy of it and used it as evidence against me. I could have kicked myself in the ass. I'm pretty sure that without the ticket, the prosecutor cannot proceed to trial. (I could be wrong.)

_____O.K. The nice officer has handed you the ticket, you sign it, he takes his copy and says "Have a good day sir/mam." (Ya, right.) You respond with the customary "Thank you officer." (I always feel stupid saying "Thank you officer." It's just proper etiquette. "Thanks asshole!" just wouldn't work quite as well.) Step two involves a decision.
_____Step 2: Decide whether or not to pay the waiver. Keep in mind that in most states in the continental U.S. you are entitled to a trial. (Most misdemeanor traffic trials are trial by judge, not by jury.) Trial demands that you have a chance to face you accusers in a court of law, and have guilt or innocence decided by a judge. (I've only actually been found "Not guilty." once. My other "successes" have involved cases being dismissed.) If you pay the waiver, you are charged the amount for the fine AND court costs. You might as well go to court. If you decide to fight the ticket and go to trial, be SURE you show up at the arraignment. If you don't the court can issue a bench warrant for your arrest. It costs more in your time, but the chances for a better outcome increase. At the very least, the state (Man) will have to spend more time proving you are guilty. This costs them money. Just imagine how many fewer tickets would be written if everyone who got one went to trial instead of paying the waiver. It is my opinion that most tickets are about money; not safety. I digress. /// Step three will be arraignment. That is Wednesday, 09-27-2006.

_____At least that's what he says. All you sexy women please go spank his ass. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. I could cane Mr. Artist's lilly white ass for him though. I sound fruity as a Californian. Atomic is not a Californian. He's from Seattle. AtomicArtist You might want to check out his blog. [blog AtomicBlog] I've been reading him since December, 2005. He is always entertaining, sometimes thought provoking. I hope his blog doesn't turn to mush, what with him being in love and all now. Happy Birthday Atomic. (I really hope you weren't lying to me.)

_____This refers to "old news". Lets say, hyphetethically, that terrorists have lobbed rockets into the U.S. from Mexico or Canada. What should we do. If another country , or the U.N.tried to tell us what our response should be, would our response to them be something like "Eat shit and die."? Just asking.
