I did not reply to your 'question' ( accusation? ) about supposedly secret, one-sided discussions because there were none.
The group is well linked throughout the site and open to everyone. No one, not even kudo lovers, require an invite to join. Your inability to find, notice or join the group is due to no fault other than your own. Your argument that somehow an elite few took it on themselves to punish you and other kudo lovers is specious.

Join the group and have your say. To repeatedly and falsely characterize the people who have taken the time to try to work with Various on issues to enhance the site as being 'controlling', 'patronizing', 'ego' driven and 'autocratic' is wearing thin.

As for how I am abused (aside from your name calling), I am the recipient of abuse in the same manner as other real people on this site who just want to enjoy it quietly without someone else projecting their unreasonable expectations on them.

In particular, and on the subject at hand, I have received many, many emails from members seeking kudos, even though mine were turned off and I was obviously not participating. There was no avoiding them and no stopping them. If I ignored them, they would just continue to email and insist that I award them kudos. If I wrote them back and told them that I was not into the kudo thing, they would still write back to insist I award them kudos or berate me for not being into what they were into. That was the problem with kudo hounds - you could not ignore them and you could not answer them and decline and you could not prevent them from emailing you in the first place. Why is this such a hard concept for people to grasp?

The kudo hounds killed kudos, end of story.

Finally, your projections of my motivations based on the idea that I did not participate in the kudo hunt and that I joined a group which is open to you and you did not join show that you should be careful about making judgments on the motivations of others. In any case, making such judgments or attacking the people with whom you are in discussion will never further your argument and will always reflect poorly on you.

Just like the media....make it's profits off the negativity in this world....the Advice Lines creates activity....

Besides the point....the Advice Lines regardless of the BULLSHIT that goes on within it caused by a few members is and has been an informative forum to members. The Kudos....what has that ever truly contributed to the majority of members of this site compared to the Advice Lines? Can one of you Kudo's lovers give a real answer to that??? I seriously doubt it!!!

WOW!!! I guess you really did make a point that you deserved Kudos from all the local men in your area for having a photo of your naked ass on the site.

Still I do not see any evidence in your response with saying the Kudos was of any contributing factor of this site, that was removed.

1- Kudos did not prove any member as being a real member.

2- Many of "fake profiles" were created by members to manipulate their Kudos score.

3- Even the BOTS had Kudos scores on them just the same as how they had\have Blogs of stolen topic postings from other member Blogs, they have photos, group postings, and chat room postings too. Boy ... I did not know that because they had Kudos scores made them a real members when I reported them for advertising porn sites with trying too redirecting members to other site that are competitors of this one.

4- What you called "perserverance (correct spelling = perseverance) factor", many of us members called harassment and abuse. Personally I considered that had been worst then the BOTS on this site. At least I wasn't being harassed to giving Kudos to them like many of the Kudos loving hounds.

5- Interacting with members is not harassing them to give you or any other member Kudos.

Interacting with members is by participating in the different forums such as this one of the Blogs, having conversations with other members through Chat Rooms, asking questions and commenting on them in the Advice Lines, posting Articles in the Magazine sections, Belonging to Groups and contributing to them through topic postings and discussions.

Quite honestly, having profile Photos\Photo Albums, Profile Videos, streaming Live Web Cams, and even making Blings does not constitute that a member actually interacts with other members.

6- The only thing that shows any member as being 90+ percent as a real person is this symbol on their profile where the member has done the Confirmed ID through .

Again you have shown nothing of evidence to the question that was asked by me of what has Kudos ever contributed to this site and it's members in comparison to the Advice Lines which has been in existence for well over 7 years.

Kudos did not bring business to this site....it is the site advertisements of what it offers to individuals on the sexual level. The Blogs, Groups, Chat Rooms, Magazine Sections (Articles and Advice Lines), Blings and etc... are only the additional features of the site owned by Various,Inc. that keeps those that join the site to continue logging back into it each day and week to showing the activity on the site. Kudos showed only a small portion of the activity by those members that chose to opt into giving and receiving the Kudos.

I been a member of this site for close to 14 years sweetie, and I have seen all the changes to this site during my time; furthermore, I am even responsible for many of the changes over the past 5 years because of my knowledge of programming and experiences on this site, even Community Ryan know this as facts and many of other members on this site as well.

In regards to the woman that deleted her profile. What proof do you have that she was "most viewed member of all time"? I highly seriously doubt that that she was, since only the member themselves can see the actual total amount of views of their profiles. The Kudos system did not show that information of a members profile.

What Kudos did was ranked members on the total amount of Kudos they received by other members that participated in that feature of the site that members had an account (profile) option to participate or not.

The Kudos system was misused and also abused from the original purpose and design of the system by the site by members.

It was designed with the purpose of members evaluating other members on their contributions to the different forums, the members activities and conduct, the members artistic talents of creating the Blings, and their Profile Descriptions, and Photos of the members.

The intentions of the Kudos was to ranking the members based on those things listed above, and for giving more notoriety and making the members profiles more noticeably seen by other members of the site.

The entire system design and intentions of the Kudos was completely abused by members even outside of the facts that the "Kudos Hounds" harassed other members with emails and postings demanding Kudos from them.

I have seen Kudos given to members for creating Blings that never created a Bling nor had a Bling on their profiles. I have seen members given Kudos for photos on their profile when they had no photo at all. I have seen members that were given Kudos for Blogs when they had no Blog. I have seen members that were given Kudos for Article postings when they had never even made one. Members given Kudos for the Advice Lines when they never once posted into it. Members given Kudos for chat room participation when more than likely they never once entered a chat room. Members given Kudos for Group participation that never belonged to any groups.

Sorry....but unfortunately the entire Kudos system design and intentions of it failed on all the factors. The reason and the blame of the system failing rest on the shoulders of not the members that wanted to see it removed, it falls on the members that used and abused it, and that is the final and bottom line and the facts to it all.

Ok, well you did prove that the woman was the all time most viewed profile of all time. I will also admit that I was not aware that another member had access to the views that other members received. A change that I was not aware of with the Search\Browse members of members profiles.

However, all the views on her profile was not generated by the Kudos alone. Maybe the majority of her views came by ways of her activity with the Kudos, but certainly it was not the only reason her profile was being viewed by other members.

As for being a standard member. I have not always been a standard member on this site. I have had membership on all levels with an exception of the VIP. When I first commented in this Blog my membership level was Silver. Furthermore, and honestly, I do not need have a premium membership for finding what I seek from this site with women sexually. But that is besides the point.

Anyhow...we both do agree that the Kudos system had flaws. Maybe you and others that appreciated Kudos that realize that, can come up with ideas and suggestions for a new Kudos system, based on knowing of the flaws within the old Kudos system that was removed and enhance the usability of it. I am sure that PM's of the site are willing to listen to any idea for site improvements\enhancements\new features. Maybe you can start that ball rolling within that community of members that appreciated and want the Kudos back.

Just a thought.

"A few ruined it for everyone. It is that simple."

Yes, a few that could not either ignore the abusive kudo emails that seem to be the main complaint or offer suggestions to redesign the system imposed their will on many others. Pleas were made for years asking for equal weight to be given for the various categories of kudos. Was an attempt made to answer those concerns? Many problems with kudos were discussed. What actions were taken to improve something that many liked about the site?

Women ignore annoying and abusive "wanna fuk" emails everyday. I got testimonials from profiles that had not viewed mine, but included outside contact information in the testimonial because apparently those are not monitored the way emails are. Easy enough to decline or ignore. I damn sure didn't accept them to be posted on my profile because that would make me in violation of the TOU. And I figured that anyone wanting to blatantly violate the terms of use was scamming anyway. Testimonials are another avenue of abuse that people cannot opt out of.

I still cannot imagine that it would have been hard to give equal weight to all kudo categories. I cannot imagine that it would be any harder to ignore kudo seekers than anyone else you don't want to communicate with. And I cannot imagine why the site would piss off many to satisfy a few. "A few ruined it for everyone. It is that simple." Nuff said, for now....Beach

Count me as one who didn't understand kudos or why the site needed them. Didn't even notice they were gone.
