Carp
Carp There was the glow of fire… burning embers- lust-heavy so- Glooming and diligent eyes- No words to speak, No letters to write… A glow of sunlight upon Currents, ebbing, swirling... Two bodies, stark naked, Grey shivers, red shivers… Scales a meaty glint off Slippery flanks, shimmering... Spawning, they slide together Carved from beauty, Touching and reeling Turgid and moist they… Fought a battle to seize each other by slippery soul The sparkling sky rivaling Warmth and tightness Moonlight welcomes him The radio plays, yes it’s- Nights in White Satin, and Shining open her unhinged gate. Beads of sweat, poured and sparked off their tingling minds, They’re suffused with echoes Ecstasy shatters - feminine flames They ignite, break open and burn Like horseradish roots her grieving In the end, swinging, swimming… Deep hushes, no twig-snap fever left, How in the re-speaking does it go? They went upstream till - No words to speak, No letters to write… Perfect alabaster loquacious Oblivion of stillness. "Carp" by Stan Mullins American 20th Century |
