Dear Lovetokisnsuk,

Thank you for the respect you pay my opinion by asking me to weigh in. My instinct is to stay out of it, on my most gut-primitive level. I try to avoid conflict. I've had to be 'in the middle' since I was a kid and it wears on one. Divorce in the family, other issues. A mess. Bleck.

I'll also say I don't feel I'm terribly affected by "it," in the sense that I don't use my real name or any recognizable photographs so there's no way really for anyone to trance me back to this. Hookup.Date Naughty Affair Dating have the right to say as they wish, it's a privately run company and we don't have to be members or participate in their product. That's my take on it.

And if I am perceived as a whore, I'm really OK with that. Just give me my cut. Let me post rates. Don't be hypocrites. That's where I take exception. I am NOT one of those people who has issues with the Sex Careers industry - my issues are only in the way it's not regulated and this in turn perpetuates corruption, drug addiction, abuse of underaged people (girls and boys), and the like.

But -- taken as a singular entity "prostitution" doesn't phase me. In fact, I consider many jobs that are 'legal' to be unspecified / yet to be categorized types of prostitution. IF a woman at Hooters is not a prostitute, I don't know what is. IF a man selling cars based on his smile, his shiny shoes, and his smarmy people skills is not some form of prostitute, again, I don't know what is. IF a sad sad woman at a truck stop does not earn better tips for having on a pushup wonderbra, I don't know what else to think but that she's a prostitute who is earning very little for the goods, and feel badly that she can't just BE a prostitute but of course she could...but she won't, becasue that's WRONG...but really what is WRONG is how little she earns to display her tits and how even less she would earn if she had an unattractive set of tits...sigh.

I'll go further and say I have worked in the sex careers industry myself. I won't go into details here,though. So please don't ask. Let's just say, based on a wide definition, it's entirely within the scope of accuracy to call me a whore (an ex-whore, actually.) Although I sort of prefer to be thought of as a courtesan. And frankly, I am truly a gifted courtesan and if there is any career in the world that was made for me, as I utterly am, deep down, than I don't know what else that would be. Perhaps running a Bed and Breakfast. Because I am a wonderful cook and I do love gardening and decorating, as well.

Surprised? Oh well. I get surprised by myself all the time. LOL
