I should dig up a chocolate-pecan pie recipe for you then. As to the nuts remark, or shall we call them 'sweetmeats,' ... *snicker*...I'm sure the ones you are referring to are indeed quite spectacular. MT And I am going to bake this pie and my google skills are sadly lacking I know a US cup and a metric cup are different sizes. A metric cup is 250ml a US cup is ???? Save the earth its the only planet with beer!!!

Its not a trick, well maybe it is can you post food stuffs? We do get Pecans, maybe they are imported? I dont know. Pecan pie is my second favourite dessert running a close second to Chocolate Pudding. Sadly my nut experience is very limited. Ive always kept myself to the ones I know best and shied away from any outside nuts. If I had a fan forced gas oven I would cook as per instructions? Can you even get pecans there? Aren't they native to the US? I know so little about nuts, Celete. Maybe you can teach me MT

Now I think about it I think your cups are a different size to mine. Could you tell me how many millilitres or fluid ounces(?) are in a cup. It would probably be easier if you just made me the pie Save the earth its the only planet with beer!!!
