Are the majority of the women listed fake?

I've been on this site for about a week, and it seems with a lot of the women who have hotlisted me, the next day their accounts reflect inactive member. What's up? Can some of you guys that has been here a while give me a heads up concerning any of this?

Also, has it been the norm to be in a hot, decent conversation and the woman just disappear? I am concerned with 'going too fast' and at the same time 'going too slow'. I don't think I'm rude or offensive.

Are the women on this site in general just rude and disrespectful? Do they just play the men? I'm sure there are exceptions. But where? Do older men actually get laid from this site? Or did I waste my money?

And any decent woman reading this, do you have any insight?

 others get hotlisted or a wink but then the profile is turned off. mostly happens to the non paying members. the site does it to try and get them to pay. just because a person does not want to meet you they are not fake. you did not say that but some do. the woman who stop talking could be married and the husband found out. or never did this and chickened out. yes some will only pretend to want to meet. will lead you on. some men do the same. all sites will have people doing that. offline there is liars, game players or whatever. only natural online it will happen.
Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth.

If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

 Brownie2020 - Actually I did type into my blog that there are women that don't respond just for the fact I (or other men) don't appeal to them. But after typing that, I took it out thinking that that thought does go without saying, but maybe not. Isn't that where the common courtesy would come into play?
I didn't even consider the point you made concerning the husband, and as for chickening out - I guess I was thinking everyone else on this site is bold.

 Sandrad1000 - I guess I was under somewhat of a misconception thinking that finding a sexual partner on this site (or any other site) would be logical. I knew there would be a rude, hypocritical person here and there, but it's difficult and frustrating trying to find a woman (or a man if that's the case) who is honest and upright, just looking for someone to fulfill one of life's needs.

I do find myself a little out of my comfort zone in 'talking dirty' in a public venue. Maybe I offend others. But when I see how others write, that thought instantly leaves my mind.
Let me ask - What is it in a person's profile that catches the attention of decent women? I'm not married, but my job does require my discretion. I can't post a face picture, even though I want to. So, the other type of picture is posted, thinking it's better then no picture at all. I try to honest in my profile.
Anyway, I'm rambling here.
