"Smile".

"Smile". There was many bad day I encounter in my life. Usually if the day start off bad, then there's a great chance it would be a mess up day. BUT! It doesn't have to be that way. I was blessed at a young age, I was given a gift (not common sense) but a gift to make people laugh. Even if they don't laugh, if I could get a smile, that works for me. Believe me it's not a hard thing to do. Just say "good morning" to a stranger. Years ago, when I was 21. I was in the Air Force. Four of us wanted to go out and have fun. We all was black. There was a nice club with some beautiful senoritas (young Spanish women). We got to the place, there was Five Spanish guys that wanted to fight us. They told us to leave and not to mess with their women. A couple of them had weapon, we just had our fists with skin on it as our weapons. One of the came up to me and said to me. "If you guys don't want to get you ass kicked, you better leave "Ese"! I look him in the eyes, me and my country ass had no idea what he was talking about. My country ass was from Va. So I said to them all. "Ese", isn't that a school paper?. I thought "Ese" was "Essay". Them guy bust off laughing and the mood change. I told, them, we just came out for a couple of drink, no trouble. I told them we'll buy them a beer. So that night, laughter change a violent situation to a peaceful one! We had a few beers , dance with a few ladies and when back to base. So, I realized, make a person laugh, or at least smile, this might make their day!           |

Good morning my friend what a wonderful story about your days in the Military. You know you have a very special gift of making people laugh and smile my friend. I bet it comes in handy often. Next time, you do early morning grocery shopping. Say "Good morning" to a stranger, it might make their day!
