Question for my fellow Bloggers
Is there a day and time of the week that you have found that it is better to post in order to maximize responses?
I have noticed that sometimes when i post something i get a ton of response and then other times i get none...
So i am just wondering if there is a 'best' time and day to make posts when i am seeking feedback?

would love the benefit of your various experience... thanks in advance

 - I feel sometimes when you post in the morning, that maximizes the amount of responses or looks you get - which tells me that people are looking at their cell phones instead of working lol...

Night works too since all those who were on their phones the entire working day now have an opportunity for downtime and for some perving.

 I honestly think it has to do with your title because that is the attention grabber. But I am sure you'll get responses from your followers no matter the subject or time of day posted

 As a viewer, having you in the friends/hotlist feed it usually pops right up so i see it right away but sometimes the feed gets cluttered and i miss some of the posts by a day or two..

 I THINK elastic_heart has it about right- peak hours seem to be as she suggests. But I just post when I have something to post- if it's three AM, I add the post. If it's eleven AM, I still post when I'm ready. I don't worry about what time it is. I don't pay a lot of attention to the lists. It is nice to have a post listed in the "Recent Posts" list, and it's also a good service to have a "Most active recent posts" list, but I'm just gratified to have people who read what I post and comment on it. I'm a bit flabbergasted sometimes that I have dedicated "watchers". I can't tell you how good it feels to have so many friends who stop by every time I post something and say hello!

 I've found that early in the morning, and afternoon drive time (as per elastic_heart) seem to work best... but I also suspect it'll be influenced by one's readers and followers...

Good question, and one I'm very interested in! And I might add, one a lot of marketing people, especially those in email marketing, spend a lot of time trying to answer. There are a variety of answers, but the main one seems to be this: A good enoguh message, sent to the right audience, will generate a response...

And yes, one does need to consider the audience: Business messages should be sent during the day, consumer messages in the evening, shopping messages on Thursday to aid in weekend planning... unless one's specific results differ, in which case go with the results for your company.

i never really thought about the marketing aspect but you are right... and yes at the end of the process i do find it fun.
