personal experiences influence behavior...... one common trait...... is that someone doesn't want to get caught rather than not acting in a manner to worry about who sees or who knows The Hubby

I run into that a bit myself. Sometimes the unavailable profile is just that, turned off, and they are ghosting the site. On but not wishing to be seen for what ever reason, like keeping on the DL from a spouse or lover. Or could be the case of the unavailable profile just using the IM system alone. Not fully on line but using their phone to access it and the ability to talk to others via IM. To each their own, but to get my attention I have to be able to see and possibly converse with them, if I can't I just ignore them.

Yea, I see that on IM. You ask for a real picture and they're gone. You can't except a 100% in the online dating world.

What are your thoughts on those who hide and why do they do it? Really don't care much. If they leave a relevant comment I'll respond if something like xxxxxx I delete. I only check out other blogger once I get into further interaction with them usually on both our blogs. By then I'm fairly safe in figuring they are genuine. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Unfortunately this has been going on since I have been a member, and it will never end its sad that members feel the need to turn off their profiles.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

Hello beautiful!!! Yes I have come across a lot of lately and it sucks. Click on their profile and it say profile unavailable ! I get this from young and older ladies. Why do you put me on your hotlist or wink at me if you don't want me to know who you are! And people with no pics or any information what WTF people! Not sure why they do this or what they are trying to do either  !Butch

Like yourself J, my curiosity often gets the better of me on here. I have been here long enough to usually spot the fakes but occasionally I have let my guard down.

I tend to think this site is a crap shoot so to speak. Half or less of what you read on profiles is real for some. I don't get why one would want to lie on their profile....seems to me that something started with lies is going to be doomed from the start. You tend to not trust people that lie to you....so simple a concept. I speak from my heart on my profile and tell it like it is - how else will someone know if they would care to meet me, or have anything in common? I'm a take me or leave me kinda woman.....lol There are too many fakes on here. One guy in my area has 40+ profiles on here....ridiculous!! Be Honest..Be Sincere...Be REAL

I don't like surfing on my phone, and if things get steamy, then I have to balance the phone, the sheep, the - shit. Forget I mentioned the sheep. I'll try using a different browser, but it wouldn't surprise me if the website is coded for an older browser standard.

Some folks...Have so many "Sock Puppets"...They lose track...It's pathetic...Borders on psychotic...It's been a problem since...Well...This joint started...Some will tell you..."Oh that's a Profile I test stuff with..."Riiiiiiiiiiiight...Pull my other finger...Just because you can...Doesn't mean you should...I'll be in the Garage...

The woman/man ratio on these sites is such, that fake profiles always appear and notifications abound, that a man has been "Checked out" I don't pay any attention to it actually - and as a Standard member, profiles are unavailable For me, in order for a woman to spike my attention, I have to see her interact in the blogs and comments , and check out her blog Otherwise, it's a fumbling search in the dark, and I don't feel too inclined into playing Cheers my lady - P

Admittedly, it's rather frustrating to get a like or flirt, only to then have zero information on the member. Are they hot? Are they local? What are their interests? Could we click? Rather than lose myself in, "What if?" I quickly move on to those I can see, those that are nearby, those with similar interests, and those I do click with. Not an egoist, "Their loss!" but a passing, "Huh...Wonder who they are? Oh well. Hey look! BOOBS!"
