Fakes, frauds, pretenders and bots.

After joining this site its quite apparent that many profiles or just fakes, frauds, pretenders or just bots designed to give the appearance of many "possibilities or opportunities". Out of 30 plus attempts to communicate with supposed "online people?" using the messenger here maybe 2 - 3 have responded. Most messages don't even show as delivered, very few indicate they were even read and only a few have even replied. I realize this is merely a moneymaking scheme but as always buyer beware as there are more fakes, pretenders and scammers then actual people.

What's been your experience?
