It's a conspiracy!!!!!
It's a conspiracy!!!!! It's not the bots...sure they are there. It's not the scammers, trying to convince me to send money to some African country, cause if not they are surely going to be devoured by lions. I enjoy being on this site. I really do. I enjoy the banter on the blogs, I enjoy reading the profiles. I've met and found some fun relationships on here. But the thing that always gets me, and I noticed this again the other day. The real conspiracy, that I am sure Hookup.Date Naughty Affair Dating is behind. The thing that always frustrates me on this site. The women that always seem to interest me the most, are not in my general area. not talking,it's a hour drive to go see her. It's like they all seem to be anywhere from 500 to 10000 miles away. Safe to say, waaaaaaay outside my driving range. It's the ones that see things the way I see them. The ones that post on these blogs with interesting, intriguing and thought provoking blogs and responses. The ones that I think, I bet we could have fun together. The ones with great eyes. The ones I can envision kissing , because of those lips. The ones who can make me think, or rethink idea's I long ago sorted out. It's a conspiracy I tell you... You ladies frustrate the hell out of me. Not intentionally, I know, but it sort of reiterates by disbelief in soul mates. Wouldn't it just suck if you were in say..Texas and your soulmate was in Asia, Europe, hell wherever wasn't within a couple of hundred miles. Keep being you, keep on enticing me with the comments, posts, messages etc. But know that I think it's a conspiracy that none of you live next door. Just saying.... Sure I like a lot of the blogs by guys, but sorry fellas, just not attracted to guys. " I refuse to belong to any organization that would accept me as a member" Groucho Marx |

There is reason, 28 while I am still single. All the women I would consider settling down with , are way too far away. Am I the only one who thinks this is wrong? " I refuse to belong to any organization that would accept me as a member" Groucho Marx

Sometimes I wonder if a lot of the intrigue is it being something beyond reach. You do make the blogs more interesting.

I hear you about interesting folks living far away. However there are some cool dudes in my neck of the woods. I just am not their type. Or they are attached. So then they are not my type. LOL Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely

Sometimes I wonder if a lot of the intrigue is it being something beyond reach. You do make the blogs more interesting. But, I do believe it's more than that. It's the conversations, laced with wit and intelligence. Don't sell yourselves short. It's more than the thought of non obtainable. I seem to end up attracted to ones how are more than 1000 miles away. And occasionally I ask myself What The . . .? I try blaming the site, or "The Deep Site", and see where that gets me. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Damn distance!! I too seem to find myself intrigued by men (some are bloggers) who I feel we have a good change of hitting it off, yet live far away. In the past I have enjoyed a virtual relationship of conversation and even some camming and then had the opportunity if he traveled to my area on business to meet up and it was great, but those were definitely the exception..and not really what I am looking for something more sustainable. I have tried relationships with men living an hour or so from me and getting together was always a hassle. And then there was the guilt making them leave, because I did not always want a sleep over. Or if I ventured to their neck of the woods, having to stay or drive home late at night. Impromptu let’s grab a quick dinner and quickie after work was impossible. As I’ve blogged about ad nauseam, it seems many of the men that live in my immediate vicinity, in my desired age range, are married. Went that route for awhile and decided that wasn’t for me anymore.

While, obviously, this was a post done in jest, it really isn't that funny. I've met, talked with, messaged, blogged with, more women that come closer to what I've been looking for, in the last month than what I have found within my radius over the last decade. If it's not a conspiracy, it is a evil twist of fate. " I refuse to belong to any organization that would accept me as a member" Groucho Marx

Five hundred plus miles is considered the safe distance. Using more than all the road!

Yeah, I just can't see the theory of soul mates being viable. I am a romantic, but I agree with you. And yes, I don't think it means we can't find the one. You're second half makes perfect sense. I am sure it happens quite often. Being on the internet gives us that chance of anonymity. Either complete, or probably more frequently, a partial disclosure. And then, as you said, if it doesn't work out it's a easy split. Well, easier. While I am honest and open on here, just like in life, there are topics left undisclosed, that could very well turn a otherwise prospective mate into a , what the hell was I thinking. Five hundred plus miles is considered the safe distance. I did have a long distance relationship on this site once. As one might guess, it didn't work out in the long term. " I refuse to belong to any organization that would accept me as a member" Groucho Marx

Good morning my friend and you know that's always been the biggest issue for members here on the site. And it's the distance between everyone you very seldom see members that your attracted too close by. I have been here many years and I even moved close to someone so we could get to know each other better, and well that didn't quite work out and I regret moving away. But there is those members that do meet, and fall in love and even get married I know as I have been kind of a matchmaker here on the site, and they are still together. I feel your frustration, but you know it's when you stop looking that a wonderful person will just find you.. I hope your enjoying your weekend thus far..

That's a good point. I think some people do feel more comfortable opening up on here. My take is you're a open and honest person and from a guys perspective, that is attractive. I truly believe that there is always hope, in any situation. Including this. Anything is possible and I who knows what changes life brings us. However, like you I think having a foot planted in reality at all times is a good thing. " I refuse to belong to any organization that would accept me as a member" Groucho Marx

I'm not sure frustrated is the word, more of a begrudging acceptance, laced with a little humor of it is what it is. People have called me an optimist. But I like to explain myself as a realist with optimistic tendancy's. It's going to be another quiet weekend for me. Three in a row...going to have to do something about that. ha. I wanted to add something to this subject. I love accents. I am an auditory person I guess. So guys who have them especially those with British or Australian ones go to the top of my list. Ha! I don't really have a list. However, any guy with a deep voice can match that attractiveness factor. ☺️ Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely

Who says we don't frustrate you intentionally? 😉 Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!
