See the first comment at the bottom of the page ......Obviously some will be a welcomed sight, .......and others will just not be that nice to see in the open.

I think it would great if women could be topless, air and sun healthy for the skin. As you mentioned lots of men in speedos and topless that di not appeal. It is not about appealing, but being g natural we all were born nakid...

Sure, women taking off their shirt is not always to intentionally see if she "Still has it" , or, "See if someone finds her appealing".
-
Sometimes she will just take it off for some sun/rain.
-
But her intentions don't matter. People will still react to what they see. There is no "Timeout" for that.
-
Yes, we were all born naked, but we are born insufficiently developed. So looking at a naked baby is not the same as looking at a naked adult. ...Although, I'm very sure there are those who would rather NOT want to see pictures of some coworkers/neighbors/ [or even] relatives, new born baby.

Oh lordy spare me. I just don’t want to see that crap. Not all bodies need to be out there. Mine included.

Okay..but the point is , women should have that legal right to be shirtless and without a bra in public places, such as parks, and beaches. Of course this will invite more cat-calls.
-
Hopefully certain women will exercise good taste, and not bare it all, but they all won't.
Like when you might see certain large bellied, skinny legged men wearing a speedo...sure, these guys can, but should they.

I'm staring at a nipple.. by the lake... as I write this.
She doesn't know it's showing. Should I tell her? Or just continue to objectify her.
She seems hammered enough... not to really care either way. 😊

In 1937, the law was changed so MEN could be topless legally in New York, and since 1992, in New York, women have had the legal right to be topless in public. Bet you didn't know that.

Did you know, currently, there are 29 States , plus Washington DC, allowing women to be topless in public, but limited to certain cities and resorts in those states. The "Free the Nipple" , movement is actively working on changing that restriction.

The "Free the Nipple" movement, on Sept 20th, 2019, got the law changed for 6 States, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Kansas, and Oklahoma, a law was passed legalizing women to remove her shirt and bra in public, and bare her chest, just as men have always had the privilege.

An attorney A.McNulty commented, “The idea that women’s bodies are purely sexual is something that, it was perpetrated by this law. By getting rid of this law, we are saying women are more than just a sexual object and their bodies are more than just a sexual object. They’re human beings just like men.”

I find it amusing this attorney thinks men will stop sexually objectifying women now.
The entire point of being "Human beings", males and females, is to be sexually attracted to certain individuals of each other at sometime or another.

Anyone who has spent some time at a resort that allows nudity, or on a beach that permits nude/topless frolicking/sun bathing, knows when you see a particular persons body, you may be sexually attracted to them, or more likely to approach that person because of how she [or he] appears/looks. Is that objectification so wrong? I say, "Not wrong".

That list of States that already have legalized toplessness in certain cities, and certain resorts: [But to be safe, you still should consult an attorney in that city of that state, to make sure]
Wyoming, Alabama, New Mexico, Iowa, Illinois, Connecticut, New York, Wisconsin, Hawaii, Idaho, California, Alaska, West Virginia, Oregon, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, N&S Dakota, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Montana, Missouri, Texas, Maine, Louisiana, Kentucky, N.Carolina, Georgia, Ohio, ...and not yet a state, Washington DC.
