Points I feel the point system is a waste. It's happened to me a few times and I'm sure it's happened to you other standard members as well. Hoping to chat with someone an IM and the person has just logged off the chat. Fair? I think not |

First, how do you know they "just logged off"? Then, the fact that someone logs off IM just before you message them is the site's fault? When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

It's all just a joke here... When Hookup.Date Naughty Affair Dating starts making standard members use points to log on, I will log off permanently.

This point system is definitely a joke. I imagine it just shut down 75% of the people who are real and chatting. So many are just bots anyways.

I think it's more to deter fakes and time wasters on the site if someone is serious about meeting others then I think they will be willing to have gold JMO

same here! it used to be where you didn't have to have points and could message unlimited on IM but now they changed it to where you have to have points for everything just for money. but once you start talking to someone and don't back out of it you can send mssgs without having to use points. but if you back out of it and want to reply back then you still have to have points, which i think is also stupid because why can't u just close it to do something else and go back in without having to use points when you have been having a convo with that person already. i think IM should not have to use points and they should go back to the way the website used to be where you could choose to be a paid member or not but still be able to talk at least on IM unlimited

Ok. So the owners of the site are here to make money. They are free to do so however they choose. More activity breeds more interest and more newbies to pay the toll. That said, there's a lot of stuff here that's unreliable. Hence, I haven't been willing to pay for a while. I don't really like or agree with their policies, but it's their choice whether to allow free access to some or all of the site.
