From Russia with love.

Well I gave my email to a young lady from my area. She wrote me too, in English that screamed I am from another country. She sent a photo of a very Eastern European looking woman too. I emailed back asking if she had come from another country because of her writing style and appearance. I got three emails in quick succession, it's not what I think, I was born and raised in Iowa Fairfield. Yeah next door to moose and squirrel Natasha. I stopped writing, so did she, and so did the parade of honeys flirting with me.

 I've found that dating people from other cultures and long distances is like walking through a mine field. To start you have to be comfortable with letting your guard down or the wall we all build for ourselves to feel secure. Then you need to navigate the communication barriers that are already in place if you're new to meeting people that you've not met before.
Then you must keep your senses sharp, how much do I want to reveal? Are they playing me for a fool? Should I attempt some personality, trust series of questions to see if they are genuine? So very many things going on that you need to determine how far to get involved?
For me I find there are many interesting women within a 50 mile radius to meet and get to know them which makes sense for me as it's less complicated to schedule a meeting. Meeting new people is very fun for me to do and I don't have any expectations. I've even got up and walked away from several first time meetings as it was more than I could handle, people have complicated lives, baggage and as we get older health issues that effect attitudes and sometimes changes personalities...
