moon glow

I live in the city
where the constant pulse
of man-made lights
has stolen the stars

but the moon still shines
an amorphous glowing ball
behind a haze of mist
hung in this starless sky.

 I really like this. Very nice turn of phraseology and the emphatic loss of stars.
“Stolen the stars” resonates.

 Step out into the darkness
It's. Crisp night air
Sky is back s slim
Stars as far as you can see
The moon a spot light
Shadow of trees on the ground
Not sound round
Just the pease of the earth
Under the night sky............
