Friendship

awhile ago i wrote a poem about losing a friendship
it was writen for someone i wont say who but if you ask i might tell you. thought i would post it today because alot of things are happening in my life all for the good and i hope the person i wrote it for might see it.
to me friendship is very important and i want all my friends to know that.
Maiden
The lose of a friendship
Over a difference of opinion
Is it truly worth it
Should I shed a tear

If it was truly a friendship
The opinions would not have matter
It would be worth it
The tears would be real

Should I offer my apologies
Because if it would help
I truly would
But would you accept

I will continue to offer
For a friendship is worth it
I shed a tear and yes a real tear
For a friendship that is lost

I will not beg
I offer this to you
No my opinion hasn’t changed
But your friendship is truly worth it

opinions are just that opinions
hopefully forgotten after time
never to stand in the way
of friendships
