I arrived in Manila on Monday after a long plane ride, now settled in to a very nice hotel The Fernandina in Quezon City.
Have met some some very nice people who are all ready my good friends.
So i am busy enjoying my stay here looking at all the beautiful women & tasting the local food.
Update: On reflection..
i should say...
Enjoying the local Food...
& TASTING the LOCAL WOMEN!!   >>!

if i haven't responded to your comments or visited your blog recently... please excuse me.
I am flying out to the Philippines on Sunday morning so am frantically trying to get every thing i need in place & organized.... you know how it is!!
A year ago, going outside my room for a Holiday seemed impossible, but now i have an opportunity to visit a place i only ever dreamed of & the chance to meet two of my online friends which i consider as an honour of the highest decree.
So i will thank you all for your continued support & your comments, for which i am truly grateful.
 to you all with a friendly handshake to my male watchers & visitors.

As I am soon flying out To Manila for a Holiday on the 06th July, i thought a little bit of history regarding one of the greatest if not The Greatest boxers of all time would not go amiss.
I was just a young 25yr young bachelor at the time, the only fighting i done was trying to get my leg over!! (nothing much changes)

In October 1975, Ali fought Joe Frazier for the third time. The bout was promoted as the Thrilla in Manila by Don King, who had ascended to prominence following the Ali-Foreman fight. The anticipation was enormous for this final clash between two great heavyweights. Ali believed Frazier was "over the hill" by that point, and his overconfidence may have caused him to train less than he could have. Ali's frequent insults, slurs and demeaning poems increased the anticipation and excitement for the fight, but also enraged a determined Frazier. Regarding the fight, Ali famously remarked, "It will be a killa... and a chilla... and a thrilla... when I get the gorilla in Manila."
The fight lasted 14 grueling rounds in temperatures approaching 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Ali won many of the early rounds, but Frazier staged a comeback in the middle rounds. By the late rounds, however, Ali had reasserted control and the fight was stopped when Frazier was unable to answer the bell for the 15th and final round (his eyes were swollen closed). Frazier's trainer, Eddie Futch, refused to allow Frazier to continue. Ali, in one of the toughest fights of his entire career, was quoted as saying, "It was the closest thing to death that I could feel." Another version had Ali saying, "It was like death. Closest thing to dyin' that I know of."

Well i know i feel like it at times...
but i'm not dead yet... hopefully a few more years in this old yet! 
I went to a friends funeral a few weeks ago & some of us afterwards were discussing what songs shall we have at our funerals? (oh some of those songs or hymns people choose)
so i said i would write one for myself........

Dentist's Are Like Politicians

Why? you may ask...
I think it was last year when my dentist told me 3 of my molars either needed to be extracted, deep root filed or he could put gold caps on them.
for me deep root filing is NOT an option, gold caps are going to cost money!! so i told him to extract them...
"well have a think about it, cause with gold caps they will outlive you" he told me, "& if you have them extracted you will need false ones" & they cost money!
Hmm.. 
So OK i agree to have gold caps..
after many visits & much pain  having them prepared...
(basically filing the crap out of them) i had gold caps fitted, cost me near on £400 (about $800) & that was on the NHS had i gone private it would have been over £1000..(about $2000)
Went for a 6 month check-up last week...
One of my molars with a gold cap has a large cavity under it.. needs to be extracted!! (that fucker never outlived me)
So i had to go in an emergency appointment yesterday & have it extracted by one of his colleagues as he was unavailable!! i wonder why?
Ouch! it took 20 minutes to extract it & now i have face ache!! 
so i asked if i could keep the extracted tooth?
"yes you can but it will soon start to smell & go bad, & there's only a little bit of gold in it, which isn't worth that much!!" i was told...
I don't care!! it's my gold that i paid money & pain for & I'm having it!!
It's been in alcohol since yesterday, cleaned it up today & is now soaking in an antibacterial fluid.
Oh yes! so why are dentist's like politicians?
cause they take your money & tell fucking lies!!
