Is it just me or does it never seem that when you message somebody on IM they don't respond. It just gives me a message saying please waiting for response from ..., it is weird because I can respond whenever somebody messages me and I do it immediately. Maybe it is just because all the girls on this site get spammed? If anybody sees this please respond

I don't know if it is cuz I'm young and dumb but I've only had 1 real girlfriend and for the longest time couldn't get over her. We dated my senior year of high school after knowing each other since like 6th grade. I never had the balls to make a move on her even though I sensed a mutual attraction since the beginning of high school. Anyway I just went for it one nite at a party completely intoxicated and we ended up dating from late September until about the end of June, we went to prom together and that was when we both lost our virginities. I lasted a grand total of 5 seconds I'd like to brag. Anyway she broke up with me as we were both going to different colleges out of New York, I went to a school in PA and she went to D.C., for the longest time my heart was broken and it ruined my whole summer and beyond that. It didn't help the school that I went to was a military school and had about 20 girls and 200 hungry guys (Kind of like this site). She is still the only girl I have ever loved and one of the two who I have had sex with. I'm still in love with her to this day but realize it is over, but can't stop imagining what could have been.
AM I the only one who feels this way?
