I`ve gone through this before but am doing it again for the benefit of anyone who missed my earlier posts.

....is what it`s begining to look like. My temp gig is drawing to a close and I`m unable to return to my home turf at that time. In all likelyhood I`ll be given the choice of stay where I`m currently at or be laid-off again. Not much of a choice and hardly one made of my free will. I`ll know more for sure in the next 2-3 weeks but I may never get the paid trips to Missouri again.

2010 has arrived like a swift kick to the family jewels.
Started the year off with a tragedy and I`ve sort of withdrawn myself from the world. Time will heal that wound.
What better way to keep your mind off of things than to throw yourself head-first into your work? Doesn`t make much sense. It has been good for me. My work involves me staying on my toes, so I don`t become a greasy spot on the ground. One screw up and you`re done for good, so it`s taken most of my concentration to get through the hard time.
Started working on a new personal contact back in January, days before the world fell apart, and am hopeful that I may see this venture to a productive end. Time will tell, so far it`s been a schedule clash.

My apologies to anyone I`ve been in contact with over the past 2-3 weeks. I`ve been hit with some family issues over the past two weeks and they have put a wrench in all of my plans.
Hopefully, the worst is passed and normalcy should return soon. To that someone I`ve been chatting to on "Y", I hope we can arrange something in the near future. A lot of it will do with getting our schedules to jive.
Other than tragedies on the homefront, life is the same as always: Work, sleep, repeat.

New Year, New Start

I`ll put this as plainly as I can.
I`m like everyone else on this site in the sense that I`m looking for someone to play with. In the past, people have taken the opportunity to either belittle or criticize me because they take offense to parts of my profile or whether or not I`m doing this without the knowledge of a partner. What I do is my business and if you don`t like it, keep it to yourself and move on. I`m not the only person on this site who has secrets and I`m sure some of those who`ve complained in the past aren`t perfect angels either.
Moving on,
I`m located in the middle of the state of Illinois. My job makes me keep odd hours and makes it difficult to do anything on a planned basis. I can`t even set a doctor`s appointment, fortunately my doctor still takes walk-in`s. The perk to my job is I get to travel and have accomodations provided to me on the other end of the road. This winter and spring, I`m doing the occassional overnights in Bloomington, Il and Chicago. Hopefully later this year, I`ll be traveling to Mid-Missouri (Moberly area) again. Past friends over there, I can`t wait to see you again. Being back to work has put opportunity for meeting in my hands again. Due to the extreme unpredictablity of my schedule, the best information I can provide interested parties is a short notice post about where I`ll be. As of Nov. 3rd
I`ve finished a two week whirl-wind series of trips to Chicago and will be working locally for the next 2-3 weeks. After that, it`s the luck of the draw where I`ll be from day to day. When in Chicago I`m there for around 30 hrs and staying at the Four Points Sheriton on Cicero, next to Ford City Mall. I`m looking forward to meeting new friends in the area while I`m around.

I`ve been really busy working out details on this for the past week and a half but the rumor is true. Nov. 2nd I go back to the RR, I`ve had to sign my life away to going north for 6 months but it got me back in faster.
Not as many nights away from home as whne I went west but opportunities still exist for meetings. I will be staying overnight in Bloomington, Il on occassion but most of my overnights will be in Chicago, where I`ll be staying at the Four Points Sheridan on Cicero (south of Midway Airport, next to Ford City Mall).Hope to meet some new friends while I`m up there this winter.

I recieved word this week that I may soon be returning to my normal job. Unfortunately in order to do so, I must go to the North again until April. It isn`t my favorite way to go but beats the hell out of what I`m doing now and is a step in the right direction. Eventually it will all pan out. For those who`ve been put on hold by all of this, it`s going to be a little longer bu the end may be in sight.

OK, sarcasm here.
The new "temporary" job is less than stellar but it supplies two things: Income and Insurance. I cannot get called back to the railroad soon enough.
In the meantime, I`m having mixed results meeting with the locals. Locals is a vague term when you live 30 miles past civilization, anyone within 75 miles is more appropriate. I`m also trying to keep up with those on the other end of the line, I`ll make it over there again if I have to make a special trip.
I wish everyone a happy 4th of July. Enjoy the day off, I`ll be working.

I`ve been busy

Haven`t blogged much for over a month. I`ll bring everyone back to speed.
After January when someone took all my "hope" and left me with pocket "change", I`ve had a tough go trying to get by. In the past month, I`ve found employment again. Not one job but two. I`ve found steady regular employment and been helping a local farmer put crops in, not leaving much time for blogging.
I`m looking forward to eventually going back to my regular job, seeing my old friends I`ve met on Hookup.Date Naughty Affair Dating and meeting new ones. Until then, I`m just doing what I have to to get by and hoping to meet a few semi-locals (you now who you are).

I`m still stuck at home for the unforeseen future. However, I continue to attempt to arrange future meets for once I start traveling to Moberly again. I ask for patience, I will return someday.
In the mean time, I`ve been in the Hookup.Date Naughty Affair Dating chat rooms alot. If you`re on my friends list, give me a shout. I`m trying to contact as many friends as I can while I`m stuck at home and I`ve got a few prospects for meetings once I become active again.
