it's been a bit since I last posted as have been dealing with a few things in my personal and professional life. Professionally, my work sees me travelling significantly and not always within my control which makes it tremendously difficult to spend any quality time with a partner, and when I do have some time, i make it a priority to partake in some non sexual leisure activities (sports) allow me to clear my head and have a few laughs. Fortunately, or unfortunately, those things consume me and take me away from making time for other things are also entertaining.

Personally, well 's another story but gladly, it is subsiding. I have spent some time tidying up loose ends which involved a messy end to a marriage, making sure family members are taken care of and understanding and using whatever available time i have, to spend it with them to let them know regardless of the other shit going on, the immediate family is still the most important thing and they have my support, always and forever.

So for those of you have contacted me and i have exchanged comments with, my apologies for either being silent or distant, but i needed and need to, take care of a few things in my life are also important. it's certainly not something personal, but in the grand scheme of things, , family and a job pays the bills, are also likely nearer to the top of the priority list.

Recently i have started to comment on the beautiful postings on the site again as i have trying to find some more time in an already busy schedule. Feel free to drop a line if you're free or in the neighborhood and please continue to share those beautiful pics of yourselves!

It's good to be back and feeling a little more at ease.

cheers.

Thanks to the lovely serve staff at local restaurant and bar. The other night, after long week of meetings, some colleagues and I went for supper and a few drinks before we all went off on our separate ways until the next time. Was a tremendously enjoyable evening on many fronts. As we are all getting older, these opportunities are much more than just the pounding of beverages until one can't see or walk (although it's still known to happen), but they're a group of older folks reminiscing, laughing loudly and remembering colleagues, some of whom have retired, left for the opportunities or passed on.

This time, we gathered at a local establishment where the food was good, beer was cold and the serving staff was exceptional. It's not like any of us are getting any younger, but it's always nice to have fun. One particular young lady, (they're all young these days) was especially attentive and engaging. Of course she was looking for a good tip, but she was perfect. Smile to die for, laughing with us and flirting just the right amount. We loved it all. Including her touching my shoulder every time she stood near. Was all too flattering to be honest.

As we settled our tab, got our costs and made way for a taxi, a pleasant hug was received and even a little note. "Thanks for making my evening. I'm in the midst of a shitty divorce and you guys made me forget about it for a few hours. Come back soon....please " and she left a . Well dear, if I was 20 years younger, maybe, but you made my day too.

One of those weeks...

Ever had one of those weeks where you're busier than hell and then wonder what you actually accomplished? For me, it's been a couple straight weeks on work travel and a few more left to go before I can rest a few days. Lots of meetings, too much time in airplanes, and falling miserably behind on the work stuff. Was supposed to be back my primary residence for the weekend but that went sideways when I got pulled into another city for end of the week crises. It didn't end on Friday so had to spend extra day deals ngvwith ignorance and incompetence of people. Managed to get some quiet time yesterday and today now I'm doing laundry and getting ready to get on a plane again for another trip. Was Hop ng to catch up with a few people from this site but such was not the case, but hopefully soon. The older, ahem, more mature I get the less patient I get with work related crap. The week wasn't without some quality reflection though. It was a time to respect my family who served, and today I will get to have a beer with a couple of long retired friends, and even to plan some extra curricular sports events for December and January. So all is not lost. Can't wait to get home soon to enjoy and catch up.

Beautiful Fall Weekend

Not sure about others, but Fall is a brilliant time if the year. While the weather can in fact be a bit unpredictable, there is a crispness in the air. A freshness. This past week was a long a stressful work week, yet extremely productive and gratifying. I learned many new things about some new colleagues and the Organizations that they represent and about the changing makeup of the workforce. By Friday, I was exhausted. I wanted nothing more than to rest with a glass of wine, some comfortable clothing and some good tv. That didn't happen, thanks to some good friends. Friday night became a sporting event with some good friends and a short sleep because other friends wanted to take in a round of golf before the season comes to a close. While cool, it was fresh, and crisp and the scents in the air were alive. The laughter made the tiredness seem non-existent. After the round, a few errands were run, a few items at home were tended to and the weekly virtual chats with the family brought to a close a fantastic day. I got the nice glass of wine....ok, a couple of them. The supper was much needed and advise listened to my favorite tunes, I drifted off to a special place. Rested and ready for today, I can't wait to see what it brings.

Had many great plans for the weekend. Mostly stuff around the house having been away for a few weeks and getting ready for the upcoming couple of busy weeks at work. I managed to get the majority of every thing done on Saturday with a few things left for Sunday. Out of the blue I get an email from a friend. Hadn't seen her in a while but had kept in touch pretty regularly. The text was short and sweet. "Are you around? I need to be fucked. Husband pissing me off". Now, this is a beautiful woman that I have seen on and off over the last 5 years. She was extremely blunt which was out of the ordinary so I figured something was up. I can't say that I needed to play 20 questions. So I responded, telling her I could rearrange a few things and that she would not only get what she needed, but she would also be made love too, with a few twists.

Our time wasn't near as long as i would have liked, but suffice it to say, her frustrations were tended to quite well. Her husband was not being nice and she needed a release and to feel needed and respected. I hope to see her again sooner than later.

Nowvi can finish the last of my house work.

Home for a rest....

To quote John Mann and Spirit of the West...

Been a long couple months. Work travel has been at an all time high. I tried to sneak away for a couple of days to my special place just to rest but got called back the Fall is here and while no golf really left, curling and some other great winter activities can now consume some time, pending of course no ridiculous travel schedule. Haven't been able to be in contact with many friends nor those that I hope to become friends with. To the latter, I apologize. To the former, see you on the ice soon!

Well, got back in late from out of town last night, and now the day must start. Groceries, bathroom cleaning, floors, gym, and then hopefully to rest to watch a particularly good football game. And who knows, maybe catch up with a few new friends. Or just a nice and relaxing afternoon and evening with a great meal and glass of wine.

Where has the summer gone?

6 weeks ago I had the best of plans. It was Summer of course. This has been the busiest Summer at work. There's been no let up. I had hoped to meet some new people, reconnect with a fwb, enjoy a bit of down time. None, NONE of it has happened and Summer is almost gone. I hope the next few weeks provides some time to do the things I had hoped for and to provide a little enjoyment as it is much needed. Hope others are finding some enjoyment.

My week away to recharge is coming to an end. Time to go back to work until the holiday. As I wake today, to the warm and clean mountain air with avskightvdrizxle, I'm reminded of the beauty this country has to offer. I've lived insome of the harshest, yet most intriguingly beautiful parts of Canada. Places frankly that most will never see, and should. Yes Europe, Asia and the Caribbean offer many special things, but damn we have a charm and history in our own backyards. From the east coast friendliness and culture, to the Plains of Abraham, to the Canadian Shield that no one seems to appreciate, to the wheat fields of the prairies and the Rockies. The darkness and daylight of the arctic presents a haunting beauty as well that we should embrace. A week full of rest, some quality beverages and great weather. Until the next time....see you soon, and many times after that.

Something to the imagination.

Maybe it's a sign of age. Maybe it's maturity. Or maybe just me being cranky. I love the female body. All of it. Love seeing it and ing with it. But there is nothing quite like leaving something to the imagination. A little cleavage, classy bra and panties, or clothing that highlights the body and it's curves. It's a beautiful thing. I don't understand the need to give it away. I may need more sleep.
