It is like a fucking mad house around my life lately. We are doing some work on our house....ripping up carpet, and refinishing the hard wood. If you could have seen me on the floor pulling up all the nails and staples. Ouch my aching back. That job sucked

Tore down a wall today, and opened up a bigger space, my vision from the day we moved in. Had to wait to be done having , and them to be old enough to walk, so they wouldn't hurt themselves when they fell. Not sure if that is a good reason or we just procrastinated....lol

Had a garage sale this past weekend, and sodded my mothers front lawn, the same day. I never want to be in the landscaping business....that was a tough job. The ripping up of the lawn that is....More pain for my back....lol

All in all though things are going well, and we're getting ready for summer. Hope this finds whoever reads it doing very well!!

I was thinking about this the other day, when a friend of mine got a DUI (Driving Under the Influence in Illinois) He was out at a dinner party had a couple of drinks, and after dinner drove home. He wasn't hammered, he wasn't swerving on the road, he wasn't drunk. He just being a novice drinker had alcohol in his system. He was pulled over by a suburban cop, for a minor traffic infraction, and asked to exit the vehicle for suspicion of DUI. He readily obliged, and passed the Field sobriety tests with flying colors. The officer then asked him to blow into his breath analyzer, which he did with full confidence, until his reading was the legal limit exactly .08. He was stunned. He didn't think for a minute he was driving illegally. This is not the way the law was intended to work, at least I hope it wasn't, and wish it wasn't being enforced in this manner. Here is a guy who rarely drinks, and when he does is really responsible, and he got a DUI. Has the law enforcement community become pimps for Lawyers, as well as insurance companies. I thought that the law was supposed to be enforced on people who were a danger to others on the road. At least that's how I have always enforced it. Makes me go hmmmmm. I wonder who benefits from pimpy DUI's? The issuing officers jurisdiction, the court system, and definitely the lawyer who charges him up the ass for his fees. Then there's all the classes (mandatory here) and fees associated with that. The system doesn't work and hasn't worked for a long time!

It's the bureaucrats fucking everything up, as usual. When I was a in the city of Chicago, there was a corner tavern on every 3rd or 4th corner. This made every bar easy to WALK home from. Now they have revoked or made too damn expensive for a corner joint to pay for the license, so they are mostly out of business. Therefore, most people who want to go to a bar to socialize every once in a while, or even every day, whatever floats your boat. However, now these people (most at least) have to drive to the saloon. So what did our elected officials do when most people started to drive to the bars. They made stricter DUI laws, and give police departments more money to enforce DUI's,and even give them federal money to work road side checks, or special DUI enforcement. Now they have made it harder to get to the bar, and easier to get arrested leaving the bar. This is fucked up!! Wonder what other States/areas have similar instances??

Thanks, for letting me get that off my chest!!

We had a fabulous trip to the House of Mouse.....saw damn near every character they have and have pictures and autographs with them. The loved it, and we ran like chickens with our heads cut off. Took them for the princess luncheon, it was well worth it. It was great food, and the girls got to meet a few of the princesses up close and get their pictures with them without waiting in line for them. We waited in enough lines all day. Glad to be home, and trying to get back into the swing of things. We got back Sunday morning, and I was at work all night Sunday night. Just got home a bit ago, and I'm exhausted. Off to bed for me to have a slumber. As they say in the Land of the Mouse....Have a Magical Day!!!

Damn, I am so sore!! I went to the gym 4 days this week, and am going to try to firm up a bit.....lose a little holiday fat (isn't that what all you girls call it)

I have been doing alot of cardio, and boy are my legs sore!! I have been told, and I know it's true, that you need to keep at it and it won't be as sore. I have to say though, I hope it happens soon, I am having trouble walking at this point.....lol

Hope nobody else is feeling this way, and if you're getting into shape that you're past this stage of it.

It was 2 years to the day, and I had an eerie feeling when I woke up this afternoon (remember I work midnights) it was weird. I remebered I was going to see my parents and then it hit me.....he's been gone for two years today. Tragic, frightening to think of. He is missed, and there is an emptiness in me whenever (which is still quite often) I think about him. My baby brother, passed away 11 Apr. 05 at the age of 21. I am still sad about that, and don't know if I will ever truly "get over" it. I am sure there are many here who have had similar loss, and pain. I hope that things get easier as we go, and that your pain has subsided, and that in the future mine will lessen. Live every day like it's your last!!!

The following is an exert from Cozy's blog on this post:
My bitching post

READ IT COPY IT AND POST IT! Maybe if they see just how many of us do not want this crap they will actually do something about it on your blog today.

HER WORDS

I mentioned the pedo problem to Andrew (CE , and he told me to write him AND customer service, sending them the info on the posts.

Ive already tried to cooperate by filing all these abuse claims, and reporting abuse, and the posts stay exactly the same. I doubt I'll be wasting anymore time trying to get the site to cooperate with the law.
What do you think should be done?

Did I mention that other posts Ive tried to post, exposing these groups, HAVE been denied?!
I'll be surprised if they even let me post this one.

I don't care who knows it, I HATE PEDOS...

They are all the same, they start out with tickling their daughters, this is one of the 1st things a pedo does to touch improper. Then begins the spying phase... then begins the "Stay up and watch a movie with me" phase. Then comes "Look at this".
Ive actually seen a pedo on here who openly asks for a mate with young daughters to play with. Now what kind of moron approved that profile?!

When is Hookup.Date Naughty Affair Dating ever going to wake up and take some action. Go ahead and shut this post down too, and I may just quit the fucking site today.

I am sure this has been seen before, but it is worth a look every time.

This was written by an 83-year-old woman to her friend.

*The last line says it all. *

Dear Bertha,

I'm reading more and dusting less. I'm sitting in the yard and admiring the view without fussing about the weeds in the garden. I'm spending more time with my family and friends and less time working.

Whenever possible, life should be a pattern of experiences to savor, not to endure. I'm trying to recognize these moments now and cherish them.

I'm not "saving" anything; we use our good china and crystal for every special event such as losing a pound, getting the sink unstopped, or the first Amaryllis blossom.

I wear my good blazer to the market. My theory is if I look prosperous, I can shell out $28.49 for one small bag of groceries. I'm not saving my good perfume for special parties, but wearing it for clerks in the hardware store and tellers at the bank.

"Someday" and "one of these days" are losing their grip on my vocabulary. If it's worth seeing or hearing or doing, I want to see and hear and do it now

I'm not sure what others would've done had they known they wouldn't be here for the tomorrow that we all take for granted. I think they would have called family members and a few close friends. They might have called a few former friends to apologize and mend fences for past squabbles. I like to think they would have gone out for a Chinese dinner or for whatever their favorite food was.

I'm guessing; I'll never know.

It's those little things left undone that would make me angry if I knew my hours were limited. Angry because I hadn't written certain letters that I intended to write one of these days. Angry and sorry that I didn't tell my husband and parents often enough how much I truly love them. I'm trying very hard not to put off, hold back, or save anything that would add laughter and luster to our lives. And every morning when I open my eyes, tell myself that it is special.

Every day, every minute, every breath truly is a gift from God.

If you received this, it is because someone cares for you. If you're too busy to take the few minutes that it takes right now to forward this, would it be the first time you didn't do the little thing that would make a difference in your relationships? I can tell you it certainly won't be the last.

"People say true friends must always hold hands, but true friends don't need to hold hands because they know the other hand will always be there."
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance!!

Sitting in my car out in the rain, and feeling rather blue. I closed a chapter of my life with someone who I was very close with, and enjoyed the company of for a long time. It is so difficult to think about it and not be sad. That's life, lots of choices and then you live with them. I hope that I made the correct choice, and that this person can live with the ones made by them.

It is such a shame that my beloved Bears fell short. The poor defense was on the field for too long, and we ran the ball less than 20 times.....that is certainly no way to keep your defense rested and control the game, and clock. Such a shame!!! Well as the old saying goes, wait until next year!!

I am all excited about tomorrow....I am hopeful that my beloved Chicago Bears will pull off an upset over the Colts in the Super Bowl.

It will take the defense getting to Manning early and often, and mistake free football from the offense with Rex at the helm.

Either way it should be very exciting!!

Go Bears!!!

I am ecstatic about Da Bears!!! I was totally into the game today, and was thrilled with the outcome. The defense stepped up like I had hoped, and took it to the Saints. Sorry New Orleans fans, maybe next year??

Looking forward to a great Super Bowl.

GO BEARS!!!
