Looking forward to the weekend

I have another busy weekend in store. Have to work of course, but not just the regular job. Gotta work starting Sat. at 4 pm, then work through until Sun. at 1:30 pm. this encompasses 2 jobs. I do it regularly, mostly every other week. It just so happens to be the NFL playoffs this weekend which sucks....cause I will miss parts of most games.....even the mighty Bears!!
I hope that they can pull it out Sunday, it would be great to see them advance. Well, enough rambling. Gotta get this weekend started. Have a great weekend all!!!

That was quite an ending to the wild card game this past evening.
A buddy of mine was out with a friend, at one of the bars. A bar that mind you was, quite a hike for my friend to travel to. His friend is a huge Cowboys fan....and when the game was over and the Cowboys blew it.....this guy stormed out of the joint and went home!!! I felt sorry for my friend, but laughed my ass off at what a this guy is!!! Thought I would share that, and then this.
Could you imagine if you were in a squares pool, or a strip card for that game??? (if you don't know what those are, ask and I'll explain, but it is a small form of gambling) anyways....the score changed at the end for such crazy reasons....the safety...the two point conversion attempt.....the botched field goal by Dallas.....it must have been gut wrenching to have had any of those numbers, except of course for the actual winner....great finish to say the least, whether you were for either team it stayed interesting!!!

OK, so I know that winks don't even work. I know that they are pretty much pointless, but it is a feature that a standard member was able to utilize (as pointless as it is)
I got a wink today, haven't received that many on here, and I tried to wink back just for shits & giggles. It said I had to upgrade to do so.....I guess that I should have to pay to make any kind of contact, but I am just venting about a feature that is not free anymore. Especially a useless one....lmao!!

This has got to be the busiest time of the year fro me. With all the Christmas parties that the police just love to throw (each unit/area etc...love to throw their own) The large family mandatories, including my own. This has been a real crazy time.
Also the last 2 weekends in a row I have been drinking like a fish, not that I mind it....lol
I have 3 nights of boozing in a row coming up, and I am sure looking forward to at least 2 of them, they should be some good times!!!
Looking forward to the break afterwords though, stop and smell the roses and all that good stuff!!

I was pondering this one.....I don't have anything that I really want (material that is) for Christmas.
I wonder what people are craving for at this time of the year (Material items only)
World peace would be nice, but I don't think things like that qualify.....it is not selfish enough for purposes of this question.
What is on your wish list for Christmas this year??

It has been a little bit of a while since I have been on. I haven't even been keeping up much with my regularly watched blogs.....Holidays are such a busy time!!! Hope that all are safe and happy, shopping til they drop, and enjoying the holiday season so far!!!

I had a meeting downstate yesterday. Long and boring, but productive anyway. After the party we had a Christmas dinner celebration with a bunch of the people involved. This was from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
The hotel bar was kinda boring, so my buddy looks over at me, and says.....lets go to our favorite club in Chicago. I was taken aback a bit, as it is a 3 to 3 and a half hour drive. It is open to 4 a.m. and he is very convincing, so we went.
We had a blast!! I ran into some old friends who I hadn't seen in a while, it was totally worth the 2 and a half hours it took us to get there. Yeah he was driving really good!!.....lol

Decisions are hard!!! I had to make a decision to terminate an association with someone today, and it always makes me uneasy to be so cold hearted. He and his organization are the can't take no for an answer types, so it made it extra hard to say good bye. Not because I feel bad that we are done, but because they don't like to hear the word no, and I had to be a bigger prick than I wanted to. Don't you just hate it when you gotta be meaner than usual!!!

Well my beauty queens didn't make the cut....very sad. It would have been nice to see them go farther. They Amazing Raced it the best that they could have. I am so torn about who I would like to see win, I don't know whether I want the couple to win?? They do make great T.V. for sure!!! She screams like a slasher flick chick!! It made me laugh tonight....they went at each other badly, then were so in love during their interview.....they are both psychos!!!!....lmao

It is always a huge disappointment for me, when someone that you had respect for gives you reason to lose it for them. Do you ever feel like there is nobody in the world who will stay true to you. If someone who you know respected you did something you didn't agree with would you talk behind their back, or would you say it to their face??

I will post however, that I was so happy to see my beauty pageant girls still alive in the Amazing Race....I just happen to think that they rock!!! The Bama girls were so upset that they were given the Yield, and said something about how we'll have no trouble sleeping tonight, yet they had full intentions of Yielding my girls!!! What hypocrites!!! I am hoping that my girls pull it off next week!!

Going through a bit of a rough patch lately, haven't had time to make my any comments on my favorite blogs let alone, blog myself. I will probably need to vent soon, but not yet.
